Cast announcement

We are very excited to announce our wonderful lead cast. Drumroll please... What's the emoticon for "drumroll"?? Okay, here are our leads:

ARTHUR DARVILL will be playing the part of Charlie, a rather troubled man looking for love. He has done lots of film, TV and theatre work, and is currently appearing in the play Our Boys, at the Duchess Theatre in London. You may also have seen him in a little-known UK TV show called Doctor Who, in which he played Rory Williams.

HANNAH TOINTON will be playing the part of Jessica, the lucky(?) lady that Charlie falls for. She has done lots of TV work too, including Hollyoaks and The Inbetweeners, and movies including The Children. She very recently appeared on UK screens in the supernatural comedy-drama Switch.

We're all thrilled that they'll be in the short, they're enormously talented, and we're very lucky to have them. Can't wait to see them on screen!

Extra rewards

UPDATE! The week is now over, so the remaining ones are all off the table! Thank you to everyone who grabbed many of them, the short will look even better thanks to you!

When we crowdfunded the short a while ago, several of the cool rewards didn't get snapped up, and not as many of the Exec Producer ones went as we expected either - so for a very short time, we're going to make some of them available again, specifically, ones where you get plenty of cool stuff for your purchase. This will be to make sure all our unexpected extra costs are covered, including some post production, and renting essential locations. We want to make sure the short looks as good as it possibly can, and that means killing people. Wait! *Paying* people! Damn, I knew there was a reason people stopped working with me after one film.

It'll just be for this week, so email us if you want to grab them, there's not enough time to set up another funding page! Email and let us know what rewards you want, and we'll give you the PayPal details. First come first served! Available rewards are as follows:

Gone! This one is now taken. ONE of these is available at £250.00: Feedback on a script from James, an Executive Producer credit on the film & IMDB, high quality versions of the film and extras to download when ready, script signed by James, a thank-you credit on the film, private links to watch the film early (streaming first), and special thanks on the site. This is a rarity, as I *never* give script feedback to people I'm not working with, and even then you'd normally be paying more than this! I will give you two A4 pages of my notes on one of your scripts (film or TV), subject to terms and conditions (don't sue me, shout at me, or injure/kill me) - what I think the script does well, what I think needs more work, anything that wasn't clear or setup, basically my recommendations for the next draft. I'll be honest, but not snarky or mean.

Gone! They're all gone!  FIVE of these are available, at £125.00: Executive Producer credit on the film & IMDB, high quality versions of the film and extras to download when ready, script signed by James, private links to watch the film early (streaming first), and special thanks on the site.

SIX  TEN of these are available, at £50.00: High quality versions of the film and extras to download when ready, script signed by James, a thank-you credit on the film, private links to watch the film early (streaming first), and special thanks on the site.

EIGHT  TEN of these are available at £20: A thank-you credit on the film, private links to watch the film early (streaming first), and special thanks on the site.

That's it! Grab them while you can, they won't be there for long.
